Happy 4th of July!!

So far we've been enjoying a very hot 4th of July. Don took Parker to work today b/c Bret was going to ride his bike in the parade and Parker didn't want to and I couldn't figure out how to work that all by myself. Bret had fun and JT rode in the stroller eating Cheerios the whole time. :) After, we came home to cool off and then later we went back to the park so Bret could jump in the bounce houses and he also wanted to climb the (huge) rock wall. They also had a small petting farm which they both loved. JT was so funny in there! He befriended a rabbit, which was so cute! I've got a video of that which I'll post soon... Youtube is being painfully slow for me right now. There's some video of Bret climbing the wall, so I'll get that uploaded soon too. He was up reallllly high! He said he wasn't scared at all and he didn't hesitate once he got near the top!

Other than that, we are having a pretty good summer so far. The big boys are either getting along great or beating each other up. Good times. We're trying to keep busy as much as we can by going for walks, to the park, to the library, etc. We're planning on getting down to Long Beach to go to the aquarium down there. They have a shark exhibit that I think Parker will really like, so maybe in a couple of weeks we can do that. Next week we're going camping at Pismo Beach so that will be fun!

Last week we picked about 10# of cherries. It was really hot and Parker picked about 4 cherries. Bret and I got a lot and Don took his time getting only the best. JT was so funny! Once we gave him a taste of a cherry, it was all over. He found a low branch and went to town eating them as fast as he could shove them in his mouth! He ate the pits and everything. On the way home, we picked up about 16# of plums from a roadside stand too. I am happy to report that we have pretty much eaten it all, except for about one bowl of cherries and a half dozen plums. I guess that's how it goes when you have a house full of boys!

And speaking of boys, the baby is doing very well! He/she is moving a lot and growing a lot! I am feeling pretty good too. We have now passed the "magic" age of viability (24 weeks). I still suspect the baby is a boy, but every once in a while I let myself think it's a girl. ;) I'm making some little things for him/ her which is fun and quick. Bret said we should call the baby Jake. Not as fun as Whizbo, but I guess we'll take it!

There are more pictures that I'll add later too. Apparently Blogger doesn't want to upload anymore for me right now! Boo!!

Be sure to call me if you come down to the aquarium!! We LOVE it there and I think we get a discount for friends with our membership!

How cute that JT has on the outfit that Bret seemed to never grow out of! Does Parker like Plums? Uncle Steve and I were just joking about the trip out to Burr Oak when Parker kept asking me if I liked plums. =)
