Let is snow...

Yes folks, that is right. Let is snow. Check out our forecast over there. Sounds just like southern California, doesn't it?? *sigh* There is not enough snow to do anything, but it is freezing cold out. Now I'll have to dig out the hats and mittens again. Yuk. I hope I can find them! I thought we were done with that.

On to other news... I think we've found a new home for Biscuit. For those who don't know the whole story, he and Annabelle got in a big scary dog fight while Don was gone a few weeks ago. I totally freaked out... crying, shaking, the whole thing. Biscuit attacked her (that is how I saw it) and would NOT stop. Plus, he's always been kind of persnickity with the kids... growls at them and is generally NOT nice to kids. He's never hurt them, but he has this attitude like he is the boss. Plus he's an 80# puppy which doesn't really help. Did I ever mention the food he ate OFF THE COUNTER?!? He would just put his paws up there and help himself. He's as tall as I am when he stands on his back legs. I think our count is 1 entire quiche, 1 giant pot of chili, 1/2 a pizza and various half bowls and leftovers. Anyway, Don and I talked a lot about it. I wanted to re-home him for a while, but I didn't want to send away Don's dog. Finally Don decided that it just wasn't safe having him around so he found some people at work who wanted him. Hopefully it will work out... they have a baby which I don't think is a good idea around Biscuit, but I guess we'll see.

Don took Bret to the golf course yesterday to help out and get a haircut. He looks so cute! I'd post a pic, but he is still sleeping ;) I'll try and get some pictures up in the next few days.

We're getting ready for our big trip to Arizona to see Grampa Dave! Don wants to leave at like midnight and drive through the night so everyone sleeps. I guess it's a good idea as any. I'm really looking forward to the visit, but I'm kind of scared of the drive. The big boys should do fine, but Tubby doesn't care for the car much so hopefully by leaving at night he will sleep. Hopefully.

Speaking of Tubby, he is trying to help me type so I should probably stop!
