Happy 4th of July!

As usual, Bret rode in the 4th of July Children's Parade! This year he rode his bike w/o training wheels. Last year he rode his scooter! One of these years, I'm going to get it together enough and get some good decorations for him. This year we just found some old crepe paper left over from their bday party and he used some Priority mail stickers too. ;) Don had to work, so he took Parker with him (I didn't think I could handle all 3 boys in the parade plus Parker didn't want to do it anyway).

They also had all kinds of things at the park. They call it the "Hot Dog Festival" and the city does it every year. Food vendors, bounce houses, a rock wall to climb... things like that. Bret used some of his own money (!) to buy a couple tickets and I got some for him too. He went in the bounce houses but his favorite was this blow up maze type of thing were you go in and squirt everyone with squirt guns! He went in 3 times! He said it was his favorite! Bret is the kid in the red shirt in the middle... he got SOAKED!

Tubby enjoyed his first 4th of July too! He rode around in the stroller, played in the grass at the park and was fascinated by the fireworks. His eyes got REALLY big when they started! After a while, I think he got a little scared (and he was tired too) but overall I think he liked them!

Great job in the parade Bret! Looks like you had lots of fun. I really like the little video that your mom did!!

Bret was looking so hard over his shoulder during the parade, I was afraid he'd dump his bike over! LOL
