Mama said there would be days like this...

Well, actually my mama did not ever say there would be days like this. Which leads me to believe that either a) my brother and I were the perfect children or b) she forgot to tell me. I prefer to believe a, but b is probably more likely the truth. This was my first week w/ all of them home for summer since Parker is now done w/ summer school. Whew, what an adventure! The beginning of the week was harder... I'm sure some of it was all of us just getting into our groove. BUT, right now the baby is sleeping and the big boys are playing w/ trains. Guess I should soak this in and relax a bit!!

Speaking of the baby... I weighed him the other day and he is now 24 pounds of love! Can you believe that? I thought he was pretty heavy, but dang that is one big butterball! He just keeps getting cuter and cuter. He can crawl REALLY fast now and has started standing up for about 5 seconds. He is always so proud of himself when he does that! It won't be long before he's walking... I hope he waits just a little bit longer though.

Bret has opened a new business. It doesn't yet have a name, but he is manufacturing bean bags. He makes them out of paper, staples and the rocks from his fishtank (he washed them first). He's selling them for $.25 a piece (this is down from $1 a piece... I thought that was a little steep). So if you're in the market for some bean bags, give Bret a call! :)

Here he is, working hard in his factory:

Parker and Bret made monster masks. They've been working on them for a couple days now. Parker consented to having his picture taken w/ his mask, so here they are!

Of course you and Steven were perfect children :) How could you think otherwise!! Annette and her girls were here for 5 hours to make cards to enter in the youth fair. It's funny how when kids are grown and gone you have much more patience than their mother :) Anyway, please tell Bret that I would like to order 4 bean bags!!! I think that is just one fabulous business and I know that I need some!!!!
